I love traveling, meeting people, having fun, and of course taking pictures. I am moved by the raw power of emotions that can be captured through a lens and the equal amount of emotion that it is able to stir in others.
You are fun, beautiful, and in love. Picking the right photographer that you connect with to document your wedding day is crucial. The happiest day of your life will be told in pictures that you will want to remember and show to your grandchildren.

Neetu + Neil | Sangeet

The definition of a Sangeet, taken from the Neetu + Neil’s website is stated as follows, “The Sangeet is a hugely popular wedding event and could even last for multiple days! This ceremony, which customarily took place at the bride’s home with relatives and friends playing the ‘dholki’ and singing ’suhaag’, which are traditional folk songs about marriage. Songs include ‘jokes’ about the in-laws and husband to-be, ‘tips’ on a successful marriage and some sad songs about the bride leaving her parents home. In modern India, men and women partake in the Sangeet with both sides of the wedding party increasingly coming together to celebrate. Hindu weddings are designed to be the union of two families, not just two individuals, and the Sangeet ceremony is the ‘ice-breaker’ between the bride and groom’s sides.”

Had I not read the description beforehand, I would have thought I left the Ritz Carlton and entered a huge dance party at a Bazaar. The family set up colorful booths filled with fabric, jewelry, goblets, vases, and tons of food all for the taking. Layla and her Lotus Dancers preformed and the band pumped out great music throughout the night. As much as I enjoy myself at all these events, it was one of the few moments where I really wish I could have dropped my camera and danced the night away.

Denise + Evan | Family

Evan is hysterical and animated. Denise is awesome and affectionate. Together, they make taking photos easy and fun. When Denise said that she wanted her photos to be taken at Downtown Disney, I knew I was in a bit of trouble. As much as I love Disneyland (I have an annual pass) I found it a little difficult to find inspiration in a half commercialized and half cartoon filled world. Of course, as the ball started to get rolling everything came out perfectly and we all had a great time.

Neetu + Neil | Bridal Shower

I don’t usually post detail shots, but this wedding gown shaped centerpiece was definitely an exception to the norm. Here are a few pictures of Neetu’s bridal shower. It was a short and sweet event filled with quiz games, great food, and presents.

Jessica + Derek | Marina Del Rey Wedding

Jessica + Derek were a ton of fun at their engagement session and their wedding was no different. The ceremony and reception took place entirely on a beautiful five-story FantaSea yacht which circled the harbor providing romantic views throughout the night. We were also blessed with a cloudy day which provided great light and kept the ceremony down to a comfortable temperature for all of us to enjoy. I also had the chance to catch up with Jessica’s cousin, Eileen Kwan, who made one of the most moving speeches I have ever heard during a wedding.

After the sun came down we finally had a chance to see Jessica’s wild side come out at the bar as well as on the dance floor. Due to the size of the reception floor there was a smaller than average area to dance but Jessica + Derek and their friends made sure to take advantage of every inch until the night was over.

Also, make sure to catch their slideshow on the bottom of this post.
