Our inspiration for picking up the camera has and always will be our couples. Katrina and I have been fortunate enough to not only have these people accept us to document the most important day of their lives, but also to accept us to be their friends and family. Your stories are our life.

Brandon started his photography career in college when he joined the school newspaper. A passion for capturing real moments and telling the story led him to become the photography editor and win several awards for his coverage within only a year. Shortly afterwards he began shooting weddings with Katrina using this same style. The rest is history.

Susan + Main + Melanie

A few times in your life you will get really lucky. The day Katrina and I shot Susan, Main, and Melanie was just one of those days. We were en route to our location when I discovered that our open fields that we were looking for weren’t quite there anymore. I started driving around until we found a secluded little park in the middle of a neighborhood. Not only did I find one of the most gorgeous parks I’ve ever seen, but it also had a hill that overlooked the entire city. We can’t wait to meet Melania Aruna Moua in a few months. We’ll be counting the days.

Ben + Kary

Ben asked Kary the big question at the Griffith Observatory so it was a meaningful location for our engagement session. Being natives of Los Angeles it’s surprising how often we don’t go visit these typical “tourist” spots. It was my first time in almost ten years and it was refreshing to look at it with the eyes of a photographer. Afterwards Ben and Kary were kind enough to take us out to Orochon which is famous for having some of the spiciest ramen in the west coast.

Monica + Ashish, Reception

Monica and Ashish knew how to end the weekend with a bang. Some of the entertainment that night included violinists, a live band, candy bar, and even a surprise appearance by some Brazilian dancers. With all that and more… needless to say there was never a boring moment that night.

Jonathan Reeves did a wonderful job coordinating the whole wedding and as always make up artist Monique Powers did a great job transforming an already beautiful woman into a stunning bride. Mark’s Garden did their legendary magic on the centerpieces.
