Our inspiration for picking up the camera has and always will be our couples. Katrina and I have been fortunate enough to not only have these people accept us to document the most important day of their lives, but also to accept us to be their friends and family. Your stories are our life.

Brandon started his photography career in college when he joined the school newspaper. A passion for capturing real moments and telling the story led him to become the photography editor and win several awards for his coverage within only a year. Shortly afterwards he began shooting weddings with Katrina using this same style. The rest is history.

Monica + Ashish, St. Regis

Monica and Ashish were married in one of the most beautiful places in all of Orange County, at none other than the lawn at the St. Regis, Monarch Beach. The day before gave us gloomy skies for most of the day so we were lucky that when the ceremony actually came around the clouds opened up and gave us some beautiful sunlight. Keep your eyes peeled for the third and final day coming up soon!

Monica + Ashish, Sangeet

The thing I love most about shooting Indian weddings is that no two are ever alike. Some ceremonies are commonplace while some are specific to where their family is from. This keeps the excitement level high and interesting throughout the day. If Monica looks familiar, you may have seen her at her sister Neetu’s wedding back in January of this year. The final two days of the wedding are coming up so stay tuned!

Mariana + Daniel, Australia

Minnesota native Mariana met Daniel while he was visiting the United States a few years ago. After Daniel went back home to Australia they kept closely touch via their daily e-mails. After only a couple visits back and forth Daniel proposed by giving her a letter in a bottle… on a gondola off the coast of Australia. After meeting them we understood why the distance couldn’t keep them apart. Documenting their every stare, touch, and kiss told us that they were one of those “meant to be” couples. Right before the wedding Mariana dropped everything in America and made the move to Daniel’s country where they will be spending their new life together.

Australia

I just wish that we could have stayed longer. We loved everything about it. Driving on the other side of the road, their accent, the food, the beach sunrises, and especially the people. Here are a few pictures from Surfer’s Paradise, Currumbin, and Tamborine Mountain. We can’t wait to come back and explore the rest of what this continent has to offer.
