Our inspiration for picking up the camera has and always will be our couples. Katrina and I have been fortunate enough to not only have these people accept us to document the most important day of their lives, but also to accept us to be their friends and family. Your stories are our life.

Brandon started his photography career in college when he joined the school newspaper. A passion for capturing real moments and telling the story led him to become the photography editor and win several awards for his coverage within only a year. Shortly afterwards he began shooting weddings with Katrina using this same style. The rest is history.

Aimee + Dantonio

If there was one word that could describe Aimee and Dantonio’s wedding it would be genuine. The couple tied the knot at the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles where Aimee works as a teacher. Adjacent to the church is a tree where she would play with her kids everyday, which is where the first photo was taken. At one point during the ceremony, her entire class even came up and sang “All You Neeed Is Love.”

Many of Aimee and Dantonio’s epic twenty eight person bridal party were part of a circle of friends that grew up together and took countless trips to Miami. Growing up Aimee was the girl that all the boys wanted and it was only fitting that the charming and handsome Dantonio would end up being the one to marry her. Their happiness and joy were infectious, especially on the colorful dance floor where salsa and house music took the night away.

BEASTMODE is a bit like being in a state of Zen, when you are in the zone, firing on all cylinders, being at the top of your game, etc. Our aim is to have you shooting in BEASTMODE at all times as well as having the business tools to stay ahead of your competition.

Ed Atero, Jan Garcia and Brandon Wong are three award winning photographers sharing the same emphasis on creative documentary wedding photography albeit each offering their own perspectives. Having three unique instructors will provide students an incredible and unique learning opportunity as Ed, Jan and Brandon will focus on what they know best!

Aimed at the aspiring and professional wedding photographer, this comprehensive workshop is focused on mastering the art, business, and technical aspects for running a successful wedding photography business. Not shooting at a gorgeous venue? We will teach you how to find and create beauty in the most mundane of areas using natural and artificial light. Tired of paying thousands of dollars to be listed in directories? We will explore all the avenues of how we find our clients and how to keep them happy. Taking too long to edit your photos? We will go over streamlining your workflow to save you valuable time. Each student will also have One-On-One time with an instructor where they can truly personalize their learning which includes portfolio review/critique.

We believe that students learn best with a mixture of group learning and one-on-one mentoring. We will spend time reviewing your portfolio and business to identify weakest links so that you can grow your business.

Carol + Jason

There’s something about the ocean front view of the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Carol’s Vera Wang dress, and the bubbly feeling throughout the day that makes this wedding scream classic. To make it even more special Carol and Jason’s adorable son Aiden was there to accompany them during this special moment in their lives.

Carol and Jason even spent countless hours into the night cutting, sewing, and glueing in order to create many of the details. Their effort didn’t go unnoticed because everyone in the room loved it. The only thing they could possibly love more was the dance floor which was filled with nonstop jumping, laughing, shoe throwing, and crazy until the very end of the night.
