Our inspiration for picking up the camera has and always will be our couples. Katrina and I have been fortunate enough to not only have these people accept us to document the most important day of their lives, but also to accept us to be their friends and family. Your stories are our life.

Brandon started his photography career in college when he joined the school newspaper. A passion for capturing real moments and telling the story led him to become the photography editor and win several awards for his coverage within only a year. Shortly afterwards he began shooting weddings with Katrina using this same style. The rest is history.

Vicky + Steve

Photographed by Brandon Wong and Katrina Santos. Written by Brandon Wong

Vicky and Steve met when they were both the maid of honor and best man at a friend’s wedding. Ever since then they knew that their wedding had to be equally beautiful and full of their personality. The couple envisioned an old Hollywood style wedding. To keep with the theme, they chose the iconic Millenium Biltmore Hotel to get ready in. Their ceremony and reception were held at the Los Angeles Union Station. Between the satin gloves, art deco decor, fedoras, birdcages, and a gorgeous laced dress, Katrina and I felt like we were truly transported back in time.

The detailed oriented day couldn’t have happened without the help of our favorite coordinator, Catherine Cindy Leo. Catherine and her team go above and beyond to make sure that the day runs as smoothly as possible, taking much of the stress off of us. This makes making our job easier and your photos more beautiful.

Vicky and Steve, thank you so much for trusting us with your special day. We know that you both spent many long nights making sure every detail was perfect and it turned out better than anyone could have imagined. Hopefully next time we go to Sushi Gen it will be open!
