Our inspiration for picking up the camera has and always will be our couples. Katrina and I have been fortunate enough to not only have these people accept us to document the most important day of their lives, but also to accept us to be their friends and family. Your stories are our life.

Brandon started his photography career in college when he joined the school newspaper. A passion for capturing real moments and telling the story led him to become the photography editor and win several awards for his coverage within only a year. Shortly afterwards he began shooting weddings with Katrina using this same style. The rest is history.

Annika + Kunal

Annika and Kunal are two people that you just can’t help but fall in love with. Their warmth and genuineness captivated us since they first stepped foot into our studio and we have been looking forward to shooting their wedding ever since.

Their ceremony was held at the classic Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Rey. What happened next had to be one of the craziest dance parties we have ever witnessed. Even a surprise performance was coordinated by Kunal’s sister and his closest family and friends. The couple had great taste in music so we found ourselves even joining in the festivities. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better day to photograph.

Stacey + Ben

Pasadena is one of our favorite cities in Los Angeles and we are so fortunate that Stacey and Ben decided tie the knot there. To top it all off they wanted pictures at the city hall which we happily agreed to do. Its architecture and charm is unrivaled and with a gorgeous couple like Stacey and Ben it wasn’t difficult to get some great frames throughout the day.

Ellen + Kim

Armed with some of the best smiles we have ever witnessed, Ellen and Kim tied the knot in the hills of Los Angeles. The reception was a spectacle in itself complete with dragon dancers, dance competitions, and even a surprise performance of “Can’t take my eyes off of you” by Kim. You would be hard pressed to find an expression from either of them that doesn’t move you in some sort of way, and that in itself was our biggest inspiration throughout the day.

Tieng + Thay

Katrina and I get emotional at pretty much every wedding, but this one was an exception. Tieng and Thay have been dating for nearly a decade but you would never know it. Throughout the day everyone was fighting to hold back tears, us included! They have been one of the sweetest and nicest couples we have ever worked with and treated us like close friends since the beginning. We can’t wait to begin our little foodie adventures together.

Randa + Josh

Photographed by Brandon Wong and Katrina Santos. Written by Brandon Wong

The four of us started off our shoot with a breaktaking view of LA at the Griffith Observatory and then we made our way down to the famous LACMA lampposts for good measure. Although Josh just returned from touring around with LMFAO for three months, he didn’t seem even a little bit tired during our engagement session. In fact, Randa’s witty personality and Josh’s hilarious stories kept us laughing into the night. Their wedding at Soka University is coming up very soon and we can’t be more excited to hang out with them again.
