Our inspiration for picking up the camera has and always will be our couples. Katrina and I have been fortunate enough to not only have these people accept us to document the most important day of their lives, but also to accept us to be their friends and family. Your stories are our life.

Brandon started his photography career in college when he joined the school newspaper. A passion for capturing real moments and telling the story led him to become the photography editor and win several awards for his coverage within only a year. Shortly afterwards he began shooting weddings with Katrina using this same style. The rest is history.

Dana + John

Photographed by Brandon Wong and Katrina Santos. Written by Brandon Wong

What started as a usual sunny California day quickly turned into one of the thickest fogs Katrina and I have ever witnessed. Despite the weather Dana and John were not phased. This is a couple that always is always laughing and smiling no matter the circumstances. The four of us spent much of our initial meeting channeling our inner foodies and talking about our love for an old pizza maker in Brooklyn. They even surprised us with some Korean pastries at the end of the shoot! Their wedding is coming up next month at Noor and we can’t wait to smile with them some more.

Randa + Josh

The four of us started off our shoot with a breaktaking view of LA at the Griffith Observatory and then we made our way down to the famous LACMA lampposts for good measure. Although Josh just returned from touring around with LMFAO for three months, he didn’t seem even a little bit tired during our engagement session. In fact, Randa’s witty personality and Josh’s hilarious stories kept us laughing into the night. Their wedding at Soka University is coming up very soon and we can’t be more excited to hang out with them again.

Aimee + Dantonio

When Aimee and Dantonio told us that they wanted their engagement photos at Disneyland we couldn’t have been more excited. It was at the “happiest place on earth” where Katrina and I spent most of our first year dating, so it was great coming back to see it through a photographer’s eyes. Great conversation and their warm personalities made the day flow by so effortlessly. On top of that they were patient with our crazy ideas and even came up with few fun ones themselves. If this is just a little piece of the two then we can’t wait for what’s in store during their wedding day next year.

Linda + Julio

Even though Katrina and I have photographed in Los Angeles countless times, we have always wanted the opportunity to shoot at LACMA. That’s why when Linda and Julio told us about their plan to shoot around Santa Monica, take a stop at the famous Urth caffe, and then finish the night at the renovated lamp posts we were more than excited.

We loved the couple for being so outgoing and enthusiastic throughout the shoot. I think at one point in time we asked Julio to lift Linda up for almost half a minute straight. That’s dedication!

Annika + Kunal

Photographed by Brandon Wong and Katrina Santos. Written by Brandon Wong

The couple’s eyes first met four years ago on the shores of Miami beach, but their encounter didn’t last long. Shortly afterwards Kunal had to continue his medical school studies in New York and Annika returned to her home in Germany. Distance wasn’t enough to separate them though, and soon enough they somehow managed to make the relationship work. Last summer Kunal planned a trip to Italy’s Amalfi coast where he proposed to Annika under Positano’s famous Tunnel of Love. After hearing this story during our initial meeting, Katrina and I knew that these two were going to be a breeze to photograph, and they were. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for their wedding coming up later this year.
