Our inspiration for picking up the camera has and always will be our couples. Katrina and I have been fortunate enough to not only have these people accept us to document the most important day of their lives, but also to accept us to be their friends and family. Your stories are our life.

Brandon started his photography career in college when he joined the school newspaper. A passion for capturing real moments and telling the story led him to become the photography editor and win several awards for his coverage within only a year. Shortly afterwards he began shooting weddings with Katrina using this same style. The rest is history.

Vivian + Calvin + Emma

Photographed by Brandon Wong and Katrina Santos. Written by Brandon Wong

Vivian and Calvin hold a special place in our hearts as the first of our couples to be expecting a baby. When they called us up asking to take photos we couldn’t help but jump in joy. Emma should be here any second now and we absolutely cannot wait to meet her.

Yan + Marc + Elle + Cade

Photographed by Brandon Wong and Katrina Santos. Written by Brandon Wong

When choosing a location for our shoot, Yan wanted a spot that was as colorful as Elle and Cade’s personality. Of course Katrina and I knew exactly where to take them, but even the vibrant walls were no match for the amount of emotion and joy that the Garlett family showed us.

Denise + Evan | Family

Evan is hysterical and animated. Denise is awesome and affectionate. Together, they make taking photos easy and fun. When Denise said that she wanted her photos to be taken at Downtown Disney, I knew I was in a bit of trouble. As much as I love Disneyland (I have an annual pass) I found it a little difficult to find inspiration in a half commercialized and half cartoon filled world. Of course, as the ball started to get rolling everything came out perfectly and we all had a great time.

The Hares

Judi is a proud single mother of two angels Jamie and Joey. From the three hours I spent with them I could instantly tell that they really understood the concept of a loving family. In a time when family values are much forgotten, the Hares were a refreshing and pleasant experience. The instant we walked onto the playground the two little kids went nuts! We even held a game of hide and seek but even I couldn’t find nor keep up with them.

One of the Hare’s family traditions is to take pictures during beautiful days and play a slideshow of them at night. Every time I glanced over Judi was snapping away just as much as I was! I hope they enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. It was a blast.
